
Connor Donnithorne is a father, restaurateur, councillor and small businessman, he Leads the Conservative Group on Cornwall Council.
First elected in 2019, Connor has served as the Cabinet member for Transport at Cornwall Council, and ensured a lower than average swing from the Conservative Party, as the 2024 General Election candidate for his home seat of Camborne and Redruth, where his campaign gained positive national media attention.
Living in Cornwall, with his young family, Connor runs Award-Winning fish and chip shops. In 2025, recognising the need for the voice of the hospitality industry to be present in policy making, Connor launched Conservatives for Hospitality, in Cornwall, with Shadow Business Secretary Andrew Griffiths MP, which will provide a critical link between senior political and industry leaders.
Connor is passionate about supporting the sector, which is particularly vital for employment in the South West, as well as across the UK as a whole.
